• you’re is a combination of you and are
  • “You’re beautiful.” (“YOU ARE beautiful.”)
  • “I don’t know what you’re doing.” (”I don’t know what YOU ARE doing.”)
• The word your is referring to something that belongs to a person
  • “Your car is nice.”
  • “Are your parents at home?”

You cannot mix them up!
