- lose is a verb and means to experience a loss
- “You'll lose against me.”
- “My dad will kill me if I lose his wallet!”
- The word loose is an adjective and it is the opposite of tight and contained
- “The screw is loose. You need to tighten it up!”
- “The dog is loose. Run!”
You cannot mix them up!
