The difference between then and than
- You can use the word then instead of next
- “First you put on your shoes, then you tie them.”
- “There were ten people in the room, then some of them left.”
- The word than is only used for comparisons
- “Ten is more than seven.”
- “You are definitely smarter than them.”
You cannot mix them up!
If you do it right, people will love you!
